What do I Believe?

What is faith? How does a person deal with the English word faith? On this page I will address each one of these questions in a way that you will be able to know what my faith is and what I believe. I would like us to look at my English definition of the word faith.

Faith: Putting ones trust in a person or thing without having hard evidence or proof.
Now that I've given you a definition of the word faith lets examine how I approach my faith in Yahweh and His word.

With a humble heart I feel that I've been called, chosen if you will, by Yahweh, the King of the Universe to be his special possession.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 7:6-10 "For you are a holy people to Yahweh your Elohim; Yahweh your Elohim has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. Yahweh did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples, but because Yahweh loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, Yahweh has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Therefore know that Yahweh your Elohim, He is Elohim, the faithful Elohim who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments, and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him, He will repay him to his face."

Therefore this statement is not made in arrogance but in humility and gratefulness that Yahweh has chosen me as He has chosen others to be set apart for Himself. Since there is one law for the natural born as well as the stranger (Shimot/Exodus 12:49, VaYikra/Leviticus 19:34) I'm grateful to have been chosen.

I also have faith in what Yeshua (Yahweh in the flesh) said in Matthew 22:14 "For many are called, but few are chosen."
I count myself blessed to be among the chosen.

This is who I'm becoming day by day through the grace of Yahweh Elohim.

I'm a follower of Yeshua of Nazareth, the Messiah. Yeshua is Yahweh come in the flesh.
I trust in Yahweh as my savior. He provided a way as the son so that I may be redeemed from the domain of darkness and placed me as a regenerated believer into Yahweh's marvelous Kingdom.

These are the scripture references for this faith statement.

Yeshayahu(Isaiah) 43:3 For I Yahweh your Elohim, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

Yeshayahu(Isaiah) 43:11 I, I am Yahweh, And besides Me there is no savior.

Yeshayahu(Isaiah) 45:21 Tell and bring forth your case; Yes, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from ancient time? Who has told it from that time? Have not I Yahweh? And there is no other Elohim besides Me, A just Elohim and a Savior; there is none besides Me.
I'm a Messianic believer from a believing background and I'm walking in the faith of Yeshua, going back to my Hebrew roots.
I believe it is only by one's trusting faith in Yahweh and the completed work of Yeshua that any of us are saved from sin and death.
I believe that Yahweh has given me the gift of teaching his Torah. It is my belief that with this gift I'm able to see into Yahweh's word and convey to those who will listen the message that is contained therein.
I'm building my ministry on the foundation of the Scriptures and the love Yahweh has given us for Him and for one another. Yeshua is the cornerstone of that foundation.

I'm attempting to walk in the ancient paths that Yahweh Elohim gave in the Tanakh:

T=Torah (First Five Books of the Bible)
N=Neviim (The Prophets)
K=Ketuvim (The Writings)

As well as following in the footsteps of the Messiah Yeshua that are found in the Gospels.
